PIM Semiconductor Design & Research Centre
Vision
The AI-PIM Semiconductor Design & Research Centre (AI-PIM Centre) is located on the third floor of this building. This institution was established to strengthen South Korea's competitiveness in the global AI semiconductor market.
Our AI-PIM Centre has three primary goals. First, we aim to design and research PIM & AI semiconductor-specialized hardware platforms and establish a comprehensive IP database called PIM-IPX. Second, the KPIM team is actively working to build an AI semiconductor ecosystem in South Korea. Third, we operate PIM-Elite, an educational institution dedicated to training AI semiconductor-specialized designers. We develop high-quality educational programs in collaboration with Samsung and SK Hynix.
Additionally, our Centre recently received a donation of four racks of Cadence Palladium systems. These systems are located on the B1 floor of this building, KI. By utilizing these Cadence Palladium PZ1 Emulation systems, the AI-PIM Centre aims to achieve higher quality engineering skills and enhance South Korea's competitive edge.
