Prof. Jiyun Lee received Colonel Thomas L. Thurlow Award [2024-01-25]

Professor Jiyun Lee received the 2023 Thurlow Award from the Institute of Navigation (ION) for her significant contributions in guaranteeing the safety of satellite-based navigation systems for aviation. The Thurlow Award was established in 1945 to honor Colonel Thomas L. Thurlow, who made significant contributions to the development of navigation equipment and the training of navigators. Professor Lee is the first Korean to receive this award.
