To better reflect their founding purpose, the names of the KAIST institutes have been revised by sharing each institute’s vision and innovation strategy. The updated names are as follows:

KI for IT Convergence; KIITC → KI for IT-AI Convergence; KIITAIC

KI for Robotics; KIR → KI for Disruptive Robotics; KIDR

KI for NanoCentury; KINC → KI for Climate, Environment, and Energy; KICEE

KI for Health Science and Technology; KIHST → KI for Human Augmentation Convergence; KIHAC
