To prepare next pandemics, we need to develop effective prophylactic vaccines against newly emerging viruses in advance. However, we do not have enough information about newly emerging viruses when they appear for the first time. CEP tries to solve this problem by development of universal vaccines targeting newly emerging viruses in a broad range.
