5. Abstract
Cu(InGa)Se2 thin-film solar cell have been developed because its high efficiency compared to other solar cells and cost competitive. A high efficiency CIGS cell was developed by careful control of metal composition and Se evaporation rate. Throughout the process and structural optimization an 18% efficiency has been realized in a small area cell. Since the efficiency is reproducible in laboratory level it is considered as very good result even though the value is lower than world record efficiency of 19.5%.
